Hi, I'm Caroline!

I design impactful learning experiences that foster connections between arts, sciences, cultures, and technologies.

About Me

From driving the learning strategy for museum exhibitions, to helping faculty implement new pedagogical practices in their classrooms, I thrive on creating immersive, engaging learning environments that captivate audiences and help organizations achieve their goals (and have phenomenal stories to tell as a result). My favorite projects involve grappling with challenges that do not have simple solutions, and my experiences span a range of formal and informal learning contexts.

I am the education and learning manager for the Michigan State University Museum's CoLab Studio. My work focuses on leading and mentoring colleagues in designing and delivering learning-driven exhibitions; evaluating and assessing the impact of our programs and exhibitions; managing and training our award-winning team of student CoLaborators, and asking my colleagues some of my favorite, unexpected work questions, like “where did we put the food scraps to feed the worms?”

I am a first-generation graduate from Michigan State University and hold a Master's of Arts in Rhetoric and Writing with a specialization in Learning Experience Design (LXD), and bachelor’s degrees in Professional Writing and English. Outside of work, you can find me exploring new coffee shops, curled up with the latest book on my reading list and my dog (Lena), or training for my next Ragnar or marathon.
